The SAG Awards

I’m a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), so every year at this time I get to vote for my favorite performances. The SAG Awards program airs on national television tomorrow night. Here are my picks to win:

Of course, I could be wrong. Seriously, though, I’ll be posting my lists of Best Movies of 2019 and Some Screen Gems You May Have Missed soon. What were your favorite screen performances this past year?

In the previous set of pictures (Talking to the Animals) there was a shot of two prairie dogs
standing cheek to cheek and the caption was “Get a room”. If I were permitted to suggest a caption for the first picture in this grouping, it would be, “Get a shirt.” I’m looking forward to your list.

  2. Cindy Dawson says:

    You’re killing me, Mitch!

  3. You made my day, Mitch – twice! First, thanks for a good laugh. Secondly, I didn’t see a picture of my face, so that was reassuring .. 😉

  4. I saw a movie last year. If I could just remember the name …

  5. Oh my gosh, you are hysterical.

Best Performance 2019 goes to my four-year-old daughter…every time she doesn’t get her way…

  7. Okay, this one “made milk come out of my nose” 🤣

  8. For me, my best movies were Parasite and Marriage Story.

  9. And the winner is … the Vietnamese Potbelly Pig!

  10. Gravity seems to have that effect
on things. But since Gravity is not
eligible this year, being an older
George Clooney movie, I’d have go
with the Joker. Some critics have
said that it was a Scorsese copy.
I would see it more as a hommage.
    Anyway, Joaquin Phoenix for best
    actor for sure.

Definitely going with the Blob Fish

  12. That fat bald cat is certainly more entertaining/less unnerving than the movie ‘Cats’…*

*I didnt actually watch Cats…just jumping on the bandwagon
