Thanksgiving Is Coming!

Thanksgiving is one of America’s favorite holidays. But for many its real name should probably be Self-indulgence Day. So, enjoy, but remember:

1) Pause and be thankful

2) Take a moment to appreciate your forebears (ahem, get it?).

    Valentine’s Day merchandise should begin to appear shortly after Thanksgiving. A hundred years from now, the period between Halloween and Easter might have morphed into one great period of self-indulgence (Mitch, you could probably come up with a name for it). This would be followed by serious diet and exercise regimes for the remaining months of the year.

    Awesome post! We have an assortment nuts both human and from trees and we always toss a few outside for the chipmunks so the first pic hit home! Happy thanksgiving!!

        Not sure, Martha, but I think it’s related to WordPress’s “new and improved” Comment boxes which expect you to log-in even if you’re already logged in, and then list you as Anonymous if you fail to comply (even though they may not have told you to).
