    Great post, Mitch. Having cared for my mom in her old age, Ashlynn’s wisdom resonated with me. Oh, to be more childlike (and Christlike in humility) in the way we see and care for others.

    Love the quotes, but the ones from the children steal the day! “Ugly eyes!” that just says it all! And little Ashlyn’s quote reminds me of a favorite book I read to my kids when they were little. “I’ll love you forever” The grown son is holding his mom on the last page. <3
