Remember: Kindness Is the Key

Be Kinder..“When you, a mere human, pass judgment on others and yet do the same things as they do, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? Or do you disregard the riches of his kindness, tolerance, and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness leads you to repentance?” ~Romans 2:3-4

    That is exactly why I choose not to drive while in San Diego.
    Unfortunately, my wife can’t drive.
    Quite the conundrum…

  2. Thanks for your post on kindness.
    Matthew 5:
    43 ¶ Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

    44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

    45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

    46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

    47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

    48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

    My favorite lawn sign of all time: “In a world where you can be anything, be kind.” Thank you for being an advocate for kindness. Thursday was World Kindness Day.

    Many years ago I got into the habit of seeing God in the face of all the people I meet each day; therefore, there is no way I can say anything mean to anybody.

    An excellent reminder, Mitch!

  13. That is so true because kindness is so important since you don’t know what someone is going through.

  14. Great advice, Mitch, and kindness doesn’t cost us anything except a little extra time. 😊

    I love that saying, “In a world where you can be anything, choose to be kind.” It is hard not to judge, I do fall into that trap at times, but then kick myself after.
