Work is where we, well, work. But our homes are where we play. So why not let our homes play with us? These houses, furnishing and decorations do something rare and valuable: They make us smile!

I’ll take the treehouse. I’ve always wanted one.
Me too, Liz! (That’s why I put it last.)
😀
This reminds me that I share my son’s black cat picture, done with Crayon when he was 6. Um, it has five legs. (Just wait until next month, when I feature his four-legged turkey! I guess the two small ones are training ones.)
;>)
We get a lot of wild turkeys in our area. I’ll have to keep an eye out for the ones with training legs. 😀
“Training legs.” Love it, Liz.
😀
Oh it’s very amazing and cool !
Oh !! I want this for my house too .☺️
Do Someone know where do I get these? .😜
I created a whimsy garden in my yard a few years ago; so much fun.
Awesome, Madeline (Trudy and I have always wanted to do that).
I like the “cat house” tree in the living room but don’t have a cat. I find a couple of the chairs downright creepy like the green one with human-like arms and legs.
These all make me smile. Can you send me that Tea Pot?
;>)
Cool!
I love that collection. It makes me happy.
Your images gave me a smile; a valuable gift these days. Be well!
You too, Jorge!
Your images gave me the creeps! I’ll stick with the conventional.
So enjoyed looking at these images! Some were very cool. I liked the tree in the house…what a great idea!
And so, apparently, do cats!
Very fun collection! I especially enjoyed the VW bus bed.
Whimsy is the spice of life!
Seeing such creativity truly enlightens the soul ~ great collection here, Mitch. Thank you and hoping you are having a wonderful start to the autumn season.
I am, thank you, and you too, Dalo.
Damn, I build with tree for our cat but it certainly doesn’t look like that!
I am inspired! Great blog.
Thank you.
I want that wall tree for my climber cat Moon Pie, for sure! And I’ve always loved that Nautilus house!
In silliness is the preservation of the world.
Thoreau had it almost right. 😉
I have a young niece who has been through some hard times, and she thinks “hand chairs” are hilarious. This post encourages me to get her one because she could use some silly creativity!
Go for it!
Very whimsical and creative. That couch sitting on that ocean mural made me a bit dizzy. Most are not for me, but very interesting.
