There’s a sentimental notion that children are better storytellers than adults. They aren’t. They’re better believers. Adults tell stories, but children live them. Because they understand what we’ve forgotten: that the things we imagine are just as real as the things we can see. Maybe more.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Mitch. My heart’s full to the brim and a little more. Happy Friday…with hugs! 🥰
Aw, thank you back, and likewise, Vicki!
SO LOVE THIS, MITCH! Thank you!!! The pictures and quotes make my heart smile HUGE! 😁❣️
My pleasure, Dori!
Delightful reminder of our better, younger days.
How endearing!
Love these. Big smile on my face now!
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
My pleasure!
Mitch, what a day brightener, kids have the best perspective. Your quotes made be smile! 😀There is nothing like humor and young kids, to start the day!🤣Thank you!
My pleasure, Hazel!
😎
Fog is clouds that have fallen down, what a cool thing to think! Awesome images!
What a sweet, touching reminder. Thanks for this trip back to a sacred place, Mitch.
As always, my friend.
This quote takes the prize: “Sometimes I like to listen to Taylor Swift in my room and cry about cats that have died.”
There’s nothing quite as precious as a child’s view of the world. Thanks for the smiles today, Mitch.
My pleasure, Kellye.
Thw images of the children you shared sparked a wonderful reverie. The child in the toilet could be my middle child when he was a toddler. Thanks, Mitch. 🙂
;>)
I love the puddle ones! I have jumped in a puddle as an adult, but I admit a 6-year-old was with me!
Some of these photos brought back delightful memories from my own childhood and those of our children and grandchildren–like playing in the surf, jumping in a leaf pile, and studying everything of interest along the roadside. Thankfully, no one in our family tried to take a bath in the toilet!
;>)
Too awesome to not repost on my Facebooks account. The girl and her camel says it all – Life is good and God is great.
Aren’t they adorable! That’s actually a pretty famous photo.
Mitch,
Love it. Oh, to have no cares and worries. What a miracle that is. Thank you, Gary
Authors are true magicians: Through the power of the written word, writers can make the unreal come alive.
Nice post
Thanks, T.
My pleasure☺️
Makes me want to be a child again!!!
My favourite quote the last one x ❤️
Mine too.
Recalling your childhood days Mitch! 💐
What wonderful photos and pure joy to read those quotes from children. They really do live their imagination. Perhaps if we all lived there we could live a peaceful life.
Indeed, Daniel. A glimpse of what heaven must be like, I suspect.
Love the second photo of cold laughing with camel!
So beautiful, Mitch!
I believe you!
Great post Mitch! Reminds me of Art Linkletter and Kids Say the Darndest Things. I loved that show. This brings back memories. 🙂
Really like those pictures Mitch! My favorite picture is the little boy painting with his hands! Raised by wolves (blood thirsty, ungodly people) I didn’t really get to be a child. However, God changed me through motherhood and I was able to enjoy being a child with my children! Praise God!
So glad you had that second chance, Cora!
Thanks Mitch!
hola
happy are the children of the lord psalms 44:01
Lovely , children live the stories we tell them, pure innocent minds
Indeed, Dr. Roy.
Lovely quotes and the images of children are delightful!
You’re so right! Children throw themselves whole-heartedly into everything. And that’s a pretty good way to live.
It is indeed, Ann.
Great pictures and quotes. I got a kick out of Dylan’s quote about fog, since it sounds like it’s almost scientifically correct, and it’s easy to understand. Out of the mouths of babes!
What a great selection of images. Coincidently, I am reading “Faith like a Child” by Lacy Finn Forgo. Here’s to getting into the Kingdom…

Awesome set of children photographies!
Well said, Mitch, and wonderful photos.
Thank you, Jennie.
You are welcome, Mitch. I will repost it this week, because it’s that good.
Aww.
The quotes from the kids were awesome! I enjoy the unique way kids experience the world, and I try to look at life beyond my predefined ways of thinking that happens with being older.
Mitch, I don’t see a reblog button. Do you have one?
Sorry, I am not “Anonymous”. I’m Jennie
Children say the most amazing things 💜💜💜
