While unashamedly quirky, these creatures are also uniquely beautiful, cute, or at least adorably ugly–the Proboscis Monkey has a face only Jimmy Durante’s mother could love. (For the scarier variety, click here.) Remember, beauty is only skin–or fur or feathers–deep.

Wonderfully created creatures by a wonderful creator. Blessings.
Amen, and blessings to you, Doug.
Amen Father God Son Jesus and Holy Spirit has created a wonderful world.
Truly inspiring
Such a beautiful reminder of the wonders around us!
Every creation is a testament to the greatness and wisdom of the Lord.
Beautiful! 😍
Thanks for the interesting photo collection. Unfortunately the slide show doesn’t work any more.
It just worked for me! Maybe you should try again.
Maned wolf looks like a cryptid. Cross between a deer and a fox?
It is a beautiful sort of hybrid, isn’t it?
What a crowd. Proof that god has a sense of humor. The United States sure got ripped off in the exotic creature category. Around my house we have white tailed deer and gray squirrels. 😢
;>)
The animal that has the body of a deer and the head of a dingo and the monkey with a Fu Manchu look like they belong in a fairytale. 🙂
1. Thanks for not including my picture in this critter slideshow. 2. I clicked on a picture and got a slideshow — weird.
;>)
The slide show works just fine.
The slideshow didn’t work for me, but the photos sure do! 🥰 Thanks, Mitch. One can all but picture their Creator adding a detail and smiling, “The people are going to love this, too.”
God’s pleasure. Yes!
I can’t decide which one I like best. The poodle moth and panda ant are sure cute. The hummingbird moth and the ili pika are also contenders for top prize. Thanks for sharing, Mitch. I don’t know where you get all your photos, but you always manage to get a great selection.
So glad you enjoyed it, Diane.
Beautiful and SO creatively amazing! Love your collections and delight in God’s creation! Thanks, Mitch!
My pleasure, Anne!
The slideshow didn’t work for me.
Sorry to hear that, Liz. It’s strangely random how some people have it and some don’t. It shows up for me when I preview posts, but goes away the moment I publish them.
I’ve seen the same thing with a few other blogs, lately. It does seem random.
Beautiful creatures!
They are. you cant help but adore them somehow
This was great! Some of these things cracked me up especially the Blob Fish. I needed the laugh. Thanks
My pleasure, Venus.
Thanks for sharing these. It made my day happier!
Delighted to hear that, Susan!
Sono degli esseri strani e non sembrano reali… Comunque se esistono significa che si sono evoluti e hanno cambiato le sembianze che avevano all’ origine. Thankyou for interesting sharing.
Piacere mio.
Creature strane e meravigliose 🤩
Creature strane e meravigliose infatti, Gatta.
💖🐈
So beautiful! Love it.
They are all adorable and beautiful each in its own way, I love animals. Right now in Florida we have a cold spell and poor iguanas get cold and fall from trees to the ground. They say not to touch them because they’re not dead and will revive. However, it just keep s being cold and I feel so sorry for them, There are no iguanas in my area but if there were I would not care what my cats think I would round up a bunch of iguanas to spend time in my apartment until the cold passes but of course, that is just a wish, I hope all the animals here in what is supposed to be the Sunshine State and warm survive this cold snap, We still have temps that will got down into the 30s at night,
Wow, that is cold for Florida, Rasma! If you ever become an iguana whisperer, I’m sure you’ll be greatly loved by our reptilian friends.
These are amazing, Mitch.
Amazing.
So cute!
Fascinating
Some of the prettiest creatures in that gallery are also the ones that have “DO NOT TOUCH” written all over them …
Very unique creatures, and “the Lord God made them all.” Thanks, Mitch!
My pleasure, Keith!
