We don’t always see them. Many are microscopic. Or live deep in the ocean. Or under our skin. Or inside of us! But–news flash, people–our world is full of alien beings! As a Halloween follow-up, here’s a sampling of some Monsters in our Midst!
(Click on any image to enlarge it–if you dare!–or to begin slide show)
Regarding those last few (I mean, come on, Venezuelan Poodle Moth!), You’re welcome!

Aargh! 😄
I won’t be getting a good night’s sleep after seeing them.😲😲
Ah, I never worry much about insect and arachnid life until I see them ‘blown up’ like this!
Lovely….seriously, a few are very beautiful.
As disturbing as some online-dating sites.
No joke…😦
I’ll try to think of them as God’s creations, as they are. But, still…creepy monsters. Thx for sharing!!
Gosh, this gave me constant shivers. The smaller the scarier… As it was said in a comment, it is all God’s creations and I respect that but I don’t need to be best friends with all of them…
We often remark on the beauty of God’s creation, and forget about all the downright weird creepy-crawlies. I guess God loves the bizarre as well as the beautiful! M-m-m. Maybe that’s a good thing where humans are concerned too!
What a perfect post-Halloween post! I can see where some of the inspiration for movie monsters comes from!!
Indeed.
Who said God doesn’t have a sense of humor?
Some things are best left unseen and unknown.
I may not sleep tonight!
Nice! Some bizarre-looking creatures out there for sure!
These are really cool and creepy!!
Wow the though of having those insects the same size as us has me cringing 😬
I love it. Going through the whole gallery, “nightmare fuel, nightmare fuel, nightmare fuel, oh look, it’s fluffy!” 😂
Wow! Eeew…. Great post!
Amazing! Are these your photos?
Awesome!
Amazing yet terrifying.
These creatures (especially Mr. Bristleworm) look like they belong in Notzilla.
The sequel.
Truly monstrous, especially on a dark night!!
This is a nice collection of very odd creatures. The genius of ”The Creator” is as imaginative as any being could muster up. Then again, some of these may have evolved to endure their environment. (another mystery of our Universe) WOW!!
What phenomenal details! Wow, what a God and Creator!
Now, that’s thinking positive, Lisa!
Well, now I won’t sleep tonight!!!
Amazing! Great costume designs for an entomology Halloween party 🙂
Hah, yes!
Ewww, some of those are really gross looking.
