Thought for the Week
May Day, May Day!
April’s been shot down
and I fear I May be next!
I’ll try and use my time well
and May-be I can last a little longer.
~May
Remember, every day is a gift, and the best way to honor the Giver is to use it well.

I appreciate the inspirational sentiments here on this beautiful first day of May!
The first one is a laugh!!!
I appreciate the experimental nature of many of your posts. Quirky.
Thanks, I think. ;>)
Time flies like an arrow. Yup
Fruit flies like a banana. So seeing fruit flies eating a banana, and simultaneously seeing a banana exiting a kitchen at high speed.
Onward 🙂
Love this, Mitch. Made me smile again! I have a quote on my wall from the poet Mary Oliver: “What do you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” It keeps me focused on what’s really important.
Yes!
Very “timely” post, Mitch.
Great quotes, Mitch. What about the old, redundant, conversation killer “Time flies when you’re having fun?” Maybe if we chose to be bored each day will feel like a year. 🙂
Catch 22.
Great stuff. The Right Stuff.
Powerful thoughts. I pray that we will take heed to them. Thanks for sharing
This is a very weird May Day for me. I logged onto Google maps and put in our street address so I could get the directions to a place of business. Guess what I saw? Me, standing in our front yard near the street, looking down at my phone. So I’m on Google street view now. Very weird indeed.
Wow! That’s the first time I’ve heard of someone spotting themselves on Google street view, Linda!
I’m infamous! 🌞
I like that first quote the best…..there’s a lot of truth in there!
Oettinger gets my vote for most profound of the lot! I MUST remember it. 🙂
Hello mitch Teemley , I
Hello, Mururria.
Anne Frank’s quotes always blow me away. Tragic that we lost such a brilliant mind at such a young age to such horrible evil.
So true, Michael.

Lovely post. I like all the quotes but find the first one the best.
Best wishes
