Could that be Aslan?
Where’s the icon for EXCELLENT!!?!!!
Nice
When did it change? My father taught me to love, help, value, protect and encourage others. I don’t ever remember a lesson on mistreating, dominating or abusing others. Maybe I grew up on a different planet.
No, you apparently just grew up in the right place on this planet, Andrew.
I think we can blame the media, including movies. It’s “The FORCE” “POWER Rangers” etc. Allowing your children free access to media can undermine your teaching of good values. And let’s not even start about the liberal public school systems. At the very least, we should not use media as a babysitter, as in “Ya’ll go watch TV, we adults need to talk…”
That’s what good dads do. It simply starts with good family values . The seed is sown here..
That perfectly sums up loving like Christ. Very timely, Mitch. Thankful that you and others are addressing this!
It needed to be addressed, and will repeatedly, no doubt. Thanks, Lynn.
Beautifully stated Mitch!
Thank you, Terri.
Reblogged this on Song Bird Songs and commented:
Good definition!
Yes, yes, yes!!!
Love this, and would like to use this in a post I am writing.
Honored.
I like the definition, and would add a second definition. Manhood: Using one’s strength of body, mind, and character to empower others.
Well said.
A most powerful quote… and reminder…. Thanks for sharing, dear Mitch… have a great weekend! 😀
You too, Aquileana!
This!! As a nice, modern, 21st-century lady, I love this definition and admire the men who uphold it 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💗
Thanks, Laina. Love your blog, btw.
Thank you! 💚💙. I’m so happy you enjoy it 🌺
Hi Mitch,
THE man modeled this for mankind so we can man-up.
Thanks,
Gary
Indeed, Gary. And I’ll be forever grateful that He did.
