Love is Inconvenient

Love is inconvenient.

Before it can be a noun

it must be a verb.

If you don’t love

when it’s inconvenient

you don’t love at all.

    Just watched “Healing River” and enjoyed the story tremendously. The young man playing Alec was outstanding. I also liked the twists and turns it took for Alec to overcome his guilt and return to faith. Great viewing for a hot summer afternoon in Minnesota.

    So very, very true. Stubborn, persistent love… the kind that allows a parent to cling to God’s grace as his child wanders wayward; the kind that opens the door of a hateful neighbor; the kind that our Savior displayed on Calvary for all of mankind.
