unless you can do a Galileo Galilei…
❤️
“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better, it’s not.” Dr. Seuss
I’m grateful God cares as much as He does!
Me too, David!
Awesome quote! 🙂
Thank you, Nancy.
Thanks, for a powerful reminder! 💖
My privilege, AW.
I feel it’s better to love ourselves first, accept the way we are, and follow our instincts, in that way we could save ourselves and others from much broken things which we face and nips unintentionally
Oh Mitch, such a powerful statement!
So glad it spoke to you, Priscilla.
How beautiful – and true!
(Still haven’t got back my laptop. 🙄 Still can’t respond as Seeking Divine Perspective.🤷
Copy that. And thanks, Annie. (Or should I say Annienonymous ;>)
So true! Christ Jesus showed us the way. As Christians we should be that committed we are ready to do such a thing but are we really? When baptized are we really thinking, if asked will I take a bullet for someone who hates me? Would I be willing to go to Ukraine and fight Putin for the same freedoms I have? I recently spent a hugh about of money on my mouth and feel terrible guilty for making that decision. Wish I’d given the money to my church & gone a less expensive route for mouth..
For me, a timely message. I just learned that three Palestinian kids got shot around the corner from my daughter’s house. People gotta stop this stuff.
God save us from our “righteous anger” (i.e. hateful judgment of others)!
When will we humans ever learn!?
Mitch, I just wrote a reflection for a church program on this same topic. We certainly need to be more attune to each other as human beings even if it is not the popular thing to do. We are all here to learn lessons from one another with dignity, respect, and love.
Amen, Mary Anne.
This would be so much easier if automobiles had never been invented.
A wonderful message.
Thank you, Vanya.
Thank God that he already paid the price for us!
John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
Dear Mitch,
I know that music really impacted your life. But if you look at the music of today, where are the kids’ voices? You know Hip Hop and Rap are 50 years old now? So is Punk! And Grunge music is 40 years old. Where is the new music? We hit new trends about every 20 years, but we seem to have missed the last 20 years. Nothing new.
You remember when Rock had 3 chords, and Country had 3 chords, and was easy enough that you could start a garage band and people would listen to you? Then each type got more complicated (Beatles, Queen, Charlie Daniels) then the next step was someone coming in with 2-3 chords and a new idea. It hasn’t happened. No protest songs, no new type of folk music, no new type of popular music… have the kids lost their voices in music? I’m concerned. ________________________________
Kids are too busy on their phones to be creative anymore.
This is the difference! He did it. My human self hopes I’m never called to give my life, my soul prays that if I need to, I will. 🙏❤️
Beautistical!
Awesome message.
This kinda hit me like a gut punch at 3:30am as I read this. There is a person who cost me a lot this past year and I still have not fully recovered from it. Would I die for her? Honestly I don’t know if I would. Do I wish her dead, no, bit it’s very hard to forgive someone who took so much. This made me think more about letting God deal with my angry heart ❤️
I love both the power and simplicity of this message. When theology gets so complex it is only available to “trained professionals,” it loses its life-changing authority.
Exactly, Mitch! Thanks for the reminder!
Well said, Mitch!

Mitch – I was hoping to “share” this
”I’ll go first” Love, God (image)
. . . but there is no Instagram link to share. Would it be okay to post the image on Instagram, repeating as the title, your bottom line in the image – A modern interpretation of John 3:16 ~ Mitch Teemley ?
. . . the only social media I get on lately is mostly instagram.
Sure, Anonymous. A link with the attribution would be nice, if possible. Blessings.
