Last week I posted a snarky photoblog entitled No Hope for the Human Race! but promised a counter-blog this week. Here it is. In the world of rhetoric, anecdotes are not considered sufficiently pursuasive to prove a point — unless there are enough to show a trend. Is there hope for the human race? Hard to say. Just to be sure, we should probably start a trend!

I look for those random acts of kindness and they are everywhere. Chicken Soup for the Soul has two full books of them. I read one a day to keep me from giving up hope in this crazy world. Thanks for sharing these. Many I had not seen before.
Wouldn’t it be great to have an entire edition of the evening TV news with nothing but good stories like this? One ediition per week would be a real booster for my sometimes questionable faith in humanity.
