Heroes In-the-Making

Tomorrow, November 11th, known in various countries as Armistice Day, Veterans Day or Remembrance Day, is dedicated to heroes: people who’ve exhibited bravery and selflessness. But what makes a hero and how do they begin? Here are some possible heroes in-the-making.

  3. Many of these picture stories are so emotionally moving they’re cathartic. They spotlight the goodness of others during a time when there is a lot of “not so good” happening. The sibling helping her brother, who has cancer, in the bathroom is particularly heartbreaking. These acts of kindness have melted my heart. Thanks, Mitch. 🙂
