God’s Magnum Opus

I feel a sense of connection to great artists when I view their work.

I feel an even deeper sense of connection to The Artist when I view God’s work.

Creation doesn’t limit or “contain” our Creator. Rather it manifests God’s character, says Dallas Willard, “in the same sense that the arrangement of furniture in your apartment is a manifestation of your will.” Nature reveals God’s aesthetic, God’s beauty. And when I look upon creation, I hear my Creator whispering, “You too were made by me. And if you remain true, you, more than any of these, will reveal Me!”

The heavens declare the glory of God.” ~Psalm 19:1

“And this same God is at work in us.” ~1 Corinthians 12:6

“Manifestation of God’s character.” Mitch, I want to see things this way too. HIS Magnum Opus! BTW, that artwork spoke to my soul! Many blessings, dear friend. You always give me “food for soul”.

  5. Pure Glory says:

Love this: “You too were made by me. And if you remain true, you, more than any of these, will reveal Me!” When we live a changed life in Jesus, we reveal our Creator.

On a different, yet related subject, mathematics is the universal language via fractal geometry is interesting. Everything on Earth and the universe is geometrical in design. This is something that amazed me as to how universal language is everywhere and no-one knows how it came to be. Poorly explained but compelling when you delve into it. As Einstein said when science fails faith takes over. My faith is in the same vein as Einstein as some things simply cannot be explained beyond doubt and that is where faith takes over.

  8. Ann Coleman says:

    Couldn’t agree more….

  9. What a gorgeous picture!

  10. Nancy Ruegg says:

Boggles my mind. The Creator of EVERYTHING cares about ME. He cared enough to make a way for me into his heaven, through his Son Jesus. He cares enough to provide for me, guide me, and bless me every single day. God cares enough to teach and train me, so I can leave behind the dissatisfaction of self-centeredness and pride to live a life of peace, joy, and contentment with him. God even cares enough to give me the sublime privilege of revealing him to others as I remain true to him, just as you’ve said, Mitch. Praise God for his kind, gracious, and active love for us!

  11. Amen 🙌🙏

  12. gpavants says:

Amen, Mitch. God’s beauty is in everything and everywhere. Hopefully we aren’t too busy to miss it all. Because busyness can do that. In Christ,

    Gary
