    In going through my mom’s Bibles in preparation for my mom’s funeral last year, our pastor enjoyed learning more about my mom by seeing what she had written in the margins. Next to the account of Jesus washing the feet of his disciples in John 13, she had written “Lord, have I washed any feet today?” He used that in her memorial service, and then a good friend of mine painted those words on a lovely sign, which serves as a nearly daily reminder of our call to serve others as Christ did. My mom was especially gifted at doing “small things with great love”. Thanks for another reminder, Mitch.
