My Featured Blogger this week is Jeff Cann of The Other Stuff. Jeff, who lives, works and writes in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, has written essays and stories for numerous magazines and websites, as well as two autobiographical books, Fragments and Badass. He’s married with two adult children. When he isn’t working or writing, he can be found biking, running the roads and wooded trails surrounding his home, or on a hot date with his wife at the grocery store.

Hi Mitch, thanks for this. I really appreciate it.
The honor is mine, Jeff.
Hi, Mitch! As always, a great share! Jeff, you make grocery shopping even sound fun! Not a waste of time at all! So, Gettysburg…the first airplane ride for my sons since I’m a Civil War history buff. I enjoy your writing style! Mitch, thank you again! Many blessings!
You too, Karla!
Thank you, dear friend!!
Thank you KL
You’re welcome, Jeff! Please feel free to call me, Karla!
Loved this!!!
That was a good little read – thank you.
I know I’ve seen Jeff on some of the same blogs I visit. My wife and I used to go clothes shopping annually. She knows I have limited tolerance for stuff like that, but she was a pro and had me in and out between 60-90 minutes, all set for another year. I don’t know that we called it a date, but it was. The best part was the celebratory drink afterward, knowing I wouldn’t have to set feet inside that hideous place for another year. 🤣
;>) Amen, Pete. I go through pretty much the same process with my wife.
Great share as always Mitch. A new writer for me to learn from.
I know an elderly couple, who’ve been doing groceries together for close to fifty years. It is a social event for them now. 🙏
Hey Mitch, All the extra traffic you sent my way was a lot of fun so thanks again.
Delighted to do so, Jeff.
It’s a sweet piece. Genuine. Frank. He’s so likeable and the story so relateable. Great pick!
Thanks, Lisa!
What a fun guy! (Not fungi, however). Thanks for introducing us to him. His practyof trying to cram too much activity into one day sounds way too familiar.
