I considered my smallness, and said,
“Lord, I am nothing.
Who am I that You should even notice me?”
And a still, small voice answered,
“You are the one who asks the question.
And that is not nothing.
It is everything.”
“Behold what manner of love
the Father has given to us,
that we should be called children of God.
And that is what we are!”~1 John 3:1

Truly MIND BLOWING that He would call us His children. Thank God for His kindness to us!
Amen, Doug!

amen and happy sunday!
Thank you, Pink!

In our modern culture I don’t think we fully grasp the status of being a child of someone, at least not to the extent those in Bible times did – it was everything to be the child of someone who held position – I am the child of the one who holds the highest position of all!
Fabulous reflections! 🙂
I heartily agree with Nancy’s comment, David!
The song today in church was I am.a child of God.

I do love this one.it We are ‘the one who asks the question’ … We are the consciousness, right?
Even making love to others have manners too
I don’t know how I got unsubscribed(!?!) from your blog in the last couple of days, Mitch, but I thought I’d alert you to possible problems with subscriptions. I noticed because I look forward to reading your posts, especially the Sunday morning one
Thanks for letting me know, Ginger. It happens to a lot of people these days. Apparently, last year WordPress started auto-unsubscribing what their very glitchy software deems inactive or fake subscriptions. I’ve given up asking them to fix it.
On one side we are nothing as the sands of the sea, on the other we are children of God. John 1:12 Amazing love
Amen 🙏🏽
Loving God and Father. Blessings
