Be a Fountain

The way of this world is to take, but Jesus called his followers to reverse that formula, saying, “Freely you have received; freely give” (Matthew 10:8). In other words, we’re called to:

“Be a fountain, not a drain.”

    Yes. More fountains and fewer drains! It’s also about doing the right kind of math: add or multiply, don’t subtract or divide.

    “Be a fountain, not a drain” sounds like a NeedtoBreathe song, “More Heart, Less Attack.” (“Be the wheel, not the track…”)

    I LOVE HUD! He has been providing unparalleled play-by-play commentary for the Kansas City Royals for over 10 years now, with many memorable “HUD-isms” along the way. Included in those are, “You can’t win a double-header if you lose the first one,” and, “that one was tattered and battered,” and, “The home runs help you get more runs.”
