Autumn Vineyards

Jane LurieMy Featured Blogger this week is east coast-born, west coast-dwelling, world-travelling photographer Jane Lurie. I’m new to Jane’s world, but I can tell you this: her work, summed up by this favorite quote of hers –“The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera” (Dorothea Lange) — does indeed teaches us to see. Spectacularly, I might add.

Hi Teree, great to hear from you! Yes, we did see a FIDM story on Beth’s competition winning illustration back then. Something seems to have disappeared in the cut and paste transition above — it’s mostly spaces and lines.
