Autumn Makes Me Sing!

Happy Autumnal Equinox to all of my fellow Northern-Hemispherians! (And Happy Spring Equinox to all of my Southern-Hemispherian friends!)

OK, so technically the equinox (“equal night”) was two days ago — or three for those in the eastern half of the world (this is confusing, isn’t it?). But now, with ever-so-slightly longer nights, it feels like fall has truly fallen… or, again, spring has, if you’re in… oh, never mind, you get it. So, um, let’s go with this:

Happy Change of Seasons to all of my fellow homo sapiens and, come to think of it, all other species on this swiftly tilting planet as well, except maybe mosquitoes. (No slight intended toward any friendly space aliens or angelic beings who might be reading this.)

    “Fall Has Fell!” (your earlier version) (I just scheduled a post called Mrs. Fell Fell. Grandma’s next-door neighbor, Blanche Fell fell and broke her arm. Both ladies were in their 70s and Grandma did their washing (even hanging it out on the line) and ironing! Basking in cooler weather here! Hurrah for the furnace!
