Raking leaves in early November
is always so festive
with the crinkles and colors of autumn:
the cheerful reds and oranges and golds
of Twix bar wrappers…
Reese’s Pieces wrappers…
and Snickers wrappers
and the urgent reds and desperate blues
of trampled election campaign flyers
and even here and there
some fallen leaves

Wonderful 👏
Thanks, Franceso!
At you.
What a welcome antidote. Thanks, Mitch!
My pleasure, Joy!
Lol! Great!

Thanks for this, Mitch.
My pleasure, Sally.
For real, though! Funny for sure!
Thanks!
Abundance calls for gratitude—Happy November!
Thanks, Pat!
Lol. When the leaves are outstripped by the human detritus we know we have a problem.
Love it! 🙂
Happy November, Mitch. We must reel in all the positivity we can. Thank you. 🙏🏾💙

Very true, and thanks, trE!
You’re most welcome!
And from the crinkles and bright colors of your brain, Mitch, you manage to create humor where the rest of us see trash and detritus. Thank you for the smile!

Nice. Definitely didn’t think you were going there.
Good!
🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for the chuckle! I needed it!
Well, then, happy to provide, Muri!

Now I will crave chocolate when dealing with my yard of fallen leaves—not such a bad thing, though.

Beautiful! 🍁🍂
Clever! I certainly wasn’t expecting those pieces of flotsam and jetsam that weren’t leaves 🙂
