Allow Me to Introduce You To…

Photo by Phil KochIf someone you love, someone you know to be kind, loving and wise, is the subject of virulent lies and rumors, the best way to fix the problem is not to defend them over and over again. It’s to introduce people to them. Especially when that person is God.

  1. Beautiful essay.

  2. Wow, wonderful 👍

  3. There is much truth packed into a few words here, Mitch. As I believe you said before, you are a “middle of the road” kind of person. Compromise is one of the best ways to make peace between folks who are polar opposites.

So true, but often far easier said than done. But then, Jesus never said it would be easy.

  9. Thank you, Mitch. Your excellent (and needful) reminder echoes the biblical truth I am seeking to make a part of my daily life. “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. ~ 1 Peter 3:15” Especially working on the gentleness and respect part.

  10. Excellent 👍. Love it!
