Notzilla!
I tried to write something deep this morning. Honest. But just couldn’t. Because I’m currently marinating in a heady mélange of comedic mellifluosity (gags and groaners scribbled on scratch paper). Most of which will end up in the next screenplay draft of my monster movie parody, due to be filmed this year!
I so want to tell you every little thing, but am sworn to secrecy! I can only say that it’s not a spoof of the upcoming mega-budgeted American Godzilla sequel (due next year), but a throw-back to a kinder, gentler time (well, a cheaper one, anyway), the early 1960s. And rather than a $200 million Wow!-generating monster, it features a considerably lower-budget Hah!-generating guy in a rubber suit. On a miniature set. Fighting toy tanks and jets festively strung on strings.
Oh, and along with making people laugh (I hope), it will also make them think (a little).
But mostly laugh.

You have piqued my curiosity! 🙂
Can’t wait to hear the whole story!
Thank you for the smile Mitch! Curiosity piqued.
I love your humour and ingenuity the most. 😊
Thank you.
Now that is an awesome pitch!
I don’t know, you got to watch out for them toy tanks – they be dangerous to step on.
Yep. Like Hotwheels left in the shag carpet.
Laughing and thinking–a winning combination! And with your off-the-charts creativity and down-to-earth wisdom, you will undoubtedly pull it off.
Aww, thanks, Nancy.
I’m thinking the monster should be fighting an identity crisis maybe… the 60s… maybe he attends a depth psychology therapy session and the guy recommends mescaline. 🙂
Swore to secrecy? Now i need to know!!!
Keep us up to date 😀
Will do.
A Story within “a Story” perhaps?
*grinning from ear-to-ear*. 😁😁 So looking forward to this one!
I can resist to anything except secrets… 😉

Sounds wonderful!
I’m looking forward to hearing more about your latest project!
Of course you’re sworn to secrecy. You’d have to give yourself the sack if you gave too much away.

Hello Mitch. Yes Pete was referring to ‘Over the Rhine’. The reason he mentioned it to me was I did a film a couple years ago .that he thought was in a similar vein( I’ll attach a link below). Good for you on getting it done and onto the next one. My hat is off to you. I try to keep the CB thing seperate from my other life but I’ve let the cat out of the bag with a few people. You seemed like a logical choice. Later and good luck with the next one. Get lots of rest beforehand

Cool trailer. Do you write, direct?
Write/Produce/Act. Directing is too much work. Leave that to people like you. I play the main character.
