55 Years Ago This Month

Dear blogfriends and followers:

I owe you an apology! Or at least an explanation: I haven’t visited your blog sites for the past week because I’ve been in a recording studio in Montana. My band The Daily Planet decided to re-record our “lost album” from 1969 — fifty-five years later to the month! More on this in the future, but meanwhile, I promise to make amends and start visiting — and enjoying — your blog sites again right away! ~Mitch

What a cool idea, Mitch! That must have been a heck of a reunion with your band. Lots of stories I’m sure.

Incidentally, I live in California but have visited Montana quite a few times in the last five years. What a beautiful state! Our son coached football at Montana Tech in Butte and then at Carroll College in Helena. This past year he took another coaching job in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, at Sioux Falls University.

  49. It is harder than most people think to close yourself in a room and record, whether singing, playing an instrument or do what I like to do and record a blog. Maybe some time you will put one recording on your blog for our enjoyment.
