The majority of the world’s animals are so small, we never see them!
“Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.” ~Anatole France
Tiny critters: One of the great paradoxes in life is that, in order to become fully human, we must learn to love that which is not human. And the smaller, the more defenseless they are toward us, the more we bound we are to care for animals. I hope you enjoy this gallery of tiny critters as much as I did putting it together!

Amazing ❤️❤️
Thanks for sharing, Mitch.
My pleasure, Andrew.
I don’t trust anyone that doesn’t like animals. Except snakes. Yikes!
Aw, some snakes are actually very people-friendly, Sue.
Critters are the best…don’t know if I can learn to love bugs though…maybe lady bugs and butterflies 😉
And some can only be seen after they have fed copiously on your blood. Bed bugs come to mind here, making a comeback in hotels and furniture stores for your future enjoyment.
True enough, Angie.
Mitch, thank you for a wonderful post!
My pleasure, Anonymous frind.
Amazing
Enjoyed your gallery. I didn’t know some of those existed. You can probably guess the one picture I could have done without, but I guess all have their place. Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure, Donna.
Well said. Awesome collection of photos.
Thanks, Michael.
You’re welcome, Mitch.
‘Snakes and wasps and spiders, Oh My! The best I can manage is a mutual avoidance!
Oh, my🥰! I love to imagine the Lord crafting the tinies– such a “thank You” rushes to mind. Thank you, too, Mitch.
I was thinking the same thing – the same God that made th e galaxies with His “fingers” (Psalm 8) created these tiny creatures!
A profound truth, Annie, with love written all over it.
My pleasure, Carol.
Super post, Mitch. Thanks.
My pleasure, John.

Cutenss Overload! So much adore-able-ness!
Thank you for the fun photos! The inchworm on top of the lizard is the best! It made me laugh. 🤣 I wonder if that inchworm managed to survive? 😱
Well, it’s a caterpillar, so hopefully it was metamorphosed into a beautiful butterly!
So amazing!
I have had a LOT going on since the first of the year & haven’t been able to read the blogs I follow with the regularity I’d like. I am so glad I took the time to read this one because it is delightful. My mom said my first word was CAT … not mommy or daddy, but CAT & from that point until now I have loved animals, cats particularly. My heart is bound with theirs.
These pictures are so appealing & endearing. An amazing escape from the daily news we’re bombarded with that is, at worst, frightening … at best, depressing. I needed to see this & now feel blessed because I have.
Thank you, Mitch.
Welcome back, Linda❣
Wow! Among the most beautiful of God’s creation are tiny creatures we fail to notice. Reminds me to always be grateful for His gifts that often gets unrecognized. Thanks for sharing these.
Great point, Leo and Nina.

Amazing post!
Thanks, Daisy!
I came across a tiny bunny on my walk the other day. My heart went ping at spotting that teeny fluffy thing.
Aw, I’ll bet, Pam.
Love them all, but a little partial to the baby fox with the giant ears. Thanks, Mitch!
So magical and adorable, Mitch. God’s creations are truly plentiful and wondrous!
They certainly are, Ab.

These images of tiny natural life speak of the wonder of creation. They remind me of the awesome love of our Creator and my conviction that before inanimate life, there is a was a force. We call it God or Yahweh perhaps, that yearned for life to evolve and wanted share in the great Creation. The photos here allow us to contemplate the mystery and beauty of this divine work. It also challenges me to contemplate that there can be a temptation to interpret natural processes as a model for human behaviour, summed up by some as “nature, red in tooth and claw.” Our awesome Creator took a huge gamble, perhaps, in allowing life to evolve into the image of God, as in the human being. Easter reminds us that human beings must rise to the highest level of awareness that we were created out love divine. Tiny creatures can help us learn to respect the complexity and that lies within each human soul. We humans are the inheritors of a divine chain of being that was set free to evolve, even at the cost of enabling and releasing powerful spirits of pride, conceit, deception, disease and death. God’s tiny creatures are part of this loving complexity. Thank you Mitch.
My privilege, Xavier.
This post reminded me of the African Dwarf Frogs I had for 10 years. I miss them. <3
💗 the photos! The Lord’s creativity on display!
