My Featured Blogger this week is Colleen Scheid. Full disclosure: Colleen is a long-time personal friend; we live just minutes away from each other and have been members of the same writers group for years. But featuring her here is no favor (except, possibly, a favor to me). Colleen is one of the most gifted and godly people I know. As the saying goes, she walks the talk. Which is saying a lot, because she “talks” (writes) both wisely and beautifully. Read on and you’ll see!

Thank you for sharing this, Mitch. I just read through several of Colleen’s posts and I love the way she writes. I’m a new follower.
Great, Linda. You won’t be disappointed!

Wait. Ten ways? Is this a trick title to see if we’re paying attention?? ,🤨🤔🧐
;>) Good catch, Ana. No, it’s the first in a series of ten posts.
Ohhhhh ~ Not good catch at all but major d’oh! 😆
👍🏻 Beauty with brain God has gifted Colleen. Best wishes to her.
How true. How lovely to have been in a creative group for so long. Lovely share.
Hi Mitch, I am a new follower. Your short stories are so powerful! I have had the opportunity to join a small group when I was in Canada a few years ago, the best thing ever! I love the discussions and hearing all the different perspectives on a topic. I also love the friendships that I developed.
Small group are so important in every believer’s life. I’ve noticed they’re even more beneficial than a Sunday church service where more often you don’t really have an opportunity to get to know anyone. There’s just brief moments to greet each other and that’s about it. No wonder people can be attending a church for 20 years and not know others who’ve been there just as long. Small group brings believers together.
