Selfies were already a thing before COVID 19, but the pandemic era ushered in a pandemic of crazy selfie-taking, as well. Anything was allowed in order to be unique, say “Hey I’m still here!,” or simply cut through the boredom! And now that the pandemic finally shows signs of diminishing (please say it’s so, Lord!), will selfie-itus diminish, too? Not a chance!
