Faith is More Than a Wedding, It's a Marriage (mitchteemley.com)

    Saw a sign outside a Methodist church that said,
    “Thanks for inviting me to the wedding, don’t forget to invite me to the marriage!” Jesus

    We get married to spend the rest of our lives with someone and in our generation that meant that the wife got a new name, a new way of life and had someone to carry her over the threshold of her new home. There is so much we miss out on when we really only want to date Jesus on Sunday instead of marrying Him forever.
