Photoshop and AI-Free
The natural world is far more mysterious, frightening and beautiful than any AI or big-budget movie effects will ever be. These amazing real world special effects shots offer just a small smattering of proof. (Don’t miss the quotes below the photo gallery.)

“It is not light that we need, but fire; it is not the gentle shower, but thunder. We need the storm, the whirlwind, and the earthquake.” ~Frederick Douglass

“For in the true nature of things, if we rightly consider, every green tree is far more glorious than if it were made of gold and silver.” ~Martin Luther King Jr.

“The best thing one can do when it’s raining is to let it rain.”
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Awesome images and fabulous quotes. Thanks for sharing, Mitch. 🙂
My pleasure, dear Nancy.
Nature creates the most incredible special effects. No AI or movie studio can truly compete with moments like this.
Nature is amazing living art, a One only original by Nature’s God. The work of AI is only reproductions, fakes. That’s why it needs to steal our intellectual property to even exist. Yeah, I might be a little triggered lol I don’t like this upity thieving tool…
;>)
Amen.
So incredibly awesome, Mitch. Thanks for making my morning. But I do have this one little housekeeping note for you; when I click on an image to enlarge it and see the slideshow, it takes me to a blank page with the message, “Not Found.” I may be the only one, but wanted to pass that along, just in case.
Nice pics and nice quotes

My pleasure, Karima!
Frozen pond from Switzerland… thank you and greetings from Switzerland…

I’m glad and relieved you emphasize the real. I could add the same disclaimer, too, regarding Photoshop and A-I, out of ignorance at first. I think A-I might be interesting, but like the personal computer it would be better to understand as a tool and not the substance. I like the images and the references you share here on nature and what is naturally authentic.
Wow, amazing photos. I love the quotes as well!
So glad you enjoyed it, Brenda!
Thank you for these WOW photo’s. Yet even the most amazing photographs do not really do justice to the seeing the beauty of creation in ‘real’ life
Very true, Priscilla (or do you prefer Cilla?).
I’m mostly called Cilla unless I’m in trouble so I do prefer Cilla
Good to know, Cilla.
Very cool, Mitch.
Thanks, Chris.
You’re welcome, Mitch.
Mitch, incredible images! Just an FYI, I wasn’t able to click on any for a bigger view, got a “page not found” message. Loved the one of the volcano 😎
Bummer, Darryl. Hopefully, WordPress will catch it and resolve it.
Great clicks, thanks for sharing.
My pleasure, Nick (or is it Chuck?).
Charles is my middle name, Nick is my ‘Nick’ name. Nobody really calls me Chuck….
;>)
Wow!
Great pics! I had to check that giant african snail. It’s real!

Beautiful photos and words, Mitch. Thanks for posting.
My pleasure, Rita.
Mitch, I don’t know if this is going to come through (still technologically challenged) but recently we saw our own “natural special effect) when the sun was setting and the soon-to-be-blood moon was rising, and the eastern sky was actually more spectacular than the western sky.

Spectacular indeed, Annie!
