This brought to mind a time when we were driving on the main street of a town a while back. The stores were all having sales of half off. We happened to see several young men with their pants below their belts and had to chuckle.

When I was a “baby Christian” getting into having daily devotions, I had a book with pithy little sayings that were cheesy but easy for an 8th grader to understand. I still remember a few of them now, 55 years later. The Agatha Christie quote here reminded me of reading that “evil” is “live” spelled backwards – not what we were created for.
