“We are His children, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. But we know that when He appears, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is.”

The verse contradicts the idea that the Resurrection of one’s physical body is incorrect. If we will then “be like Him” we cannot have a body and Paul suggests that we will “change in form” upon being resurrected.

Amen and Amen Mitch: We have been through so many setbacks and surgeries and such in the last month and yet, I know my redeemer lives and I choose to worship Him instead of my expectations. Norm

Well said, Mitch. The more I try to live the life He wants me to live, the better I like who I am.

Amen, to be like Him. Even though the more we are like Him, the more we will be hated by those who hate Him, and we have to be OK with that. Being the “aroma of Christ” means being the “aroma of life” to those who are being saved, but we are also the stench of death to those who are perishing. Still, that’s what I want.

Mitch, what a beautiful and moving quote (I love the words within the stunning picture). That’s the truth in which I long to live and resemble.
