Our Thanksgiving Tree (beautifully decorated and photographed by my wife Trudy). On Thanksgiving Day we’ll add strips of paper with our family’s 2022 “I’m thankful fors” artfully calligraphed onto them (also Trudy’s work). And, yes, soon thereafter the tree will be re-clothed in its Christmas best!
It’s Thanksgiving in the U.S.A. today.
It’s Thanksgiving in heaven every day.
I think I’ll move to heaven.
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His steadfast love endures forever!” ~Psalm 107:1

I’ve never heard of a Thanksgiving Tree. How awesome is that? Especially when decorated so beautifully by your wife.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Mitch!

And to you and your family, Mitch. Are you having a big gathering today?

No, just four of us here in Ohio, Gail. Our other daughter and her husband live in California, along with our extended families.

What a lovely idea, Mitch. I will have to remember that for next year. I agree, everyday is Thanksgiving, at least it should be, here on earth as well.

As I was reading down through these nice comments, I read this comment and thought you had written ‘Thanks, God!’ I blinked to clear my vision and of course it says ‘Thanks, Geo!’
Whew!!

Well, I resubscribed to your excellent site ~ again… This’ll make time number three. You’re not the only site seeing unannounced unsubscribes which don’t come from its subscribers ~ mine’s doing it too.
Happy Thanksgiving, brother!

Your tree is the opposite of the traditional May 1st Wish Tree. How lovely!

Great point, Jennie. (This is the first time I’ve heard about a 1st of May Wish Tree, btw).

Thank you, Mitch. Google wish trees and you’ll be amazed. Katherine Applegate’s best selling book, Wishtree, is one of the best. It inspired me to have all the children at school make wishes and hang them on our big maple tree on the playground. Really nice!
