The Maya Angelou quote is my favorite. Girl power! Frankly, the world would be a better place if more women were in charge. But I digress. Happy Thanksgiving, Mitch!

Wonderful.
I’m sorry if my comment sounds selfish, but I’m find the world very confusing. I know the gap between the have and have nots has been growing, but there is an awful lot of whining coming from groups of people, especially in England, where I live, who can make changes themselves to improve, not only their own lives, but their communities, too. It’s as though they have become totally reliant on others to fulfil their needs. Too often you hear said, “I think the government should help us with this and that.
When you see the devastation of war, natural disasters and the pandemic has had on countries around the world and how these countries and working hard to rebuild themselves.
I guess I’m of the age when I heard my parents and grandparents talking about life during the second world war when you had to ‘make do and mend’ You had the help your family and neighbours because you all were in the same boat.

Happy Thanksgiving Mitch. Thank you for the A.A. Milne quote. I’m pretty sure Winnie the Pooh is a good plan to follow…

Just found your blog after you liked one of my posts – thank you, Mitch. I love these quotes – so much sense spoken of in them. The Alphonse Karr quote has always been my favourite. Closely followed by the A.A. Milne quote – I’ve always loved Pooh Bear!
