Love it or hate it (does anyone really love Daylight Savings Time?), it’s that time again. But at least we get our lost hour back (kind of). So don’t forget to Fall Back this weekend!

Our huskies do a group howl every morning between 7:30 and 8:00, without fail. I try to shush them but once it gets going they just can’t stop. Which means they’ll soon be waking up the entire state of Idaho an hour earlier…

Thanks, Mitch. I needed that! Enjoy the extra hour this weekend. After our cruise from Vancouver to Hawai’i and back, followed by a flight to Toronto and a night in the fog-bound airport, my internal time clock is so confused that it may take a while to recover. What’s an extra time change? Wait until next year when we cross the IDL! … Anyway, as I said, enjoy your extra hour!❤

Although, most of these looked more like when the idiots in Congress tell us to “spring forward” and we have to set our clocks to get up an hour earlier!
One of my greatest disgusts with Congress and Ben Franklin is this absurdity we call Daylight Saving Time.
We do not save daylight any more than King Canute could stop the tide. If he were alive today, he would just move the “high-tide” markers and say, “There, I stopped the tide from coming in,” like Congress does by moving the clock!

I was listening to Beach House last night (specifically, “Space Song”), where part of the refrain is “Fall. Back. In. To. Place” (that’s how she enunciates it), and I *STILL* almost forgot to set the clocks back. And then I woke up at 4:30am anyway so I didn’t even get my extra hour of sleep. 😬
