Thoughtful Thursday

Some of my profounder thoughts of late:

Shark Girl and Mitch ( stand behind those who are misunderstood (safer there). This is me with my niece who’s adopted a paleo diet. When she gets aggressive I just bop her on the nose.

My MRI ( have gotten so non-committal. I had an MRI for a skating injury. I asked the technician what he saw. He handed me the report. I signed it, snapped the pen back on the clipboard, and noticed this!

It’s never too late to start a Bucket List. Here’s what I’ve got so far:

1) Bucket

My Bucket

That’ll do for now, it looks like I’m running out of space:

I love the starting a bucket list. I would be the same, the bucket would be waiting for a list for a long time. 🙂

I never got the “bucket” concept. When my time comes, it is more likely that I’ll trip over that bucket, crack my head, and expire.

;>) 1) Buy bucket, 2) trip over it and die. That’s about as basic as a bucket list can be, Rob!

I finally bought a nice big blue bucket from Home Depot. It remains to be filled…

My husband recently had an MRI scan done on his head. He was given a CD of his scan. The technician wrote ‘Brain W/W-Out’ on the front of the CD. Which explains a lot. 😀

Thanks for the high-brow artwork Mitch. If you just throw a little paint on the canvas it could sell for millions someday!

😀 This past week, while I assessed the charts/graphs etc., on cost of living, wages, inflation, etc., whose benefitting, who will need to tighten their belts and who, in the end, will slide further down the scale, I was remembering the song, “There’s a hole in my bucket” – song – from long, long ago – Cute little song labeled ‘procrastionation/excuses’ often, in my hearing/my life, but to me? It’s just rather a song about – ‘so, what DO you do, when the roof is leaking, the brakes have gone out on the car, you’ll be fired if you miss work tomorrow, but ya spent what you had to buy the food and medicine for your family, yesterday….now what?” –
😀 Just sharing, cuz ‘Bucket’ reference seemed serendipitous to me, but it’s on my list, to keep track of what’s going on with various buckets, with holes in them, that slide, overall, under the radar?? that’s it – that’s my bucket list! 😀

So your bucket list is actually a list of buckets? Brilliant, TamrahJo!

Not brilliant, per se, was my immediate thought after reading your reply – just what, after a lifetime, thus far,? I am still in the place of, “take care of the buckets, every day, the long stuff will work out – ” – 😀 I dunno whether brilliant or not – but it’s how I survive – and – well – as aside, any word proceeding the word ‘diet’ confounds me – either you are eating real food, getting nourishment you need or you are not – but that approach doesn’t sell books, apps or seminars/webinars, does it?? LOL

My sister always checked to see if anyone had gone into the “Silly Zone” by randomly shouting “pickle”. Anyone who laughed was definitely sliding down the steep slope to “Sillyville” and that was the point where everyone was ordered to bed!! I’m betting you are strutting through that area….
