Pondering what the boy “from another world” had said before he disappeared, the great bird Aviar realized “the Time of an End and a New Beginning” had arrived. He adjusted his glasses on his beak, and opened the box containing the sacred scrolls. And there on top it was: 
Thoughts: Do you hear echoes our own time here? Are we too living in a “time of an end and a new beginning?”

It is like stories from pagan lands, from all lands. There is moral. It is not so much religion as cultural understanding. The gifts may be understanding, tolerance, beauty, justice, … sometimes 13 is associated with https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/the-role-of-the-number-13-in-astrology/articleshow/10326415.cms … interesting.
