May your life be filled with forgiveness–
both for others and for yourself

A reminder we always need. God does not forgive us based on imperfect knowledge of us – He knows us better than we do. If He wanted to change His mind, He had several hours on the cross to do it, and even that didn’t make Him give up on His people.

I discovered that I could not forgive others without first forgiving myself.

Forgiving yourself, that’s the hard one.

Yes, C.S. Lewis, full of wisdom as always. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (I John 1:9) Then we can forgive ourselves and others as well.
