A child’s sense of wonder is a priceless commodity. Perhaps the only thing of equal value is the retention of that commodity into adulthood.

    Thanks for this Mitch. It’s really blessed me because God has been speaking to me about “5 minutes of wonder”. I haven’t fully understood yet what he’s telling me but I think that might be the point. Let’s see what follows. Thanks 😊

    My mentor and friend, Jim, used to tell me to put this sticker on my bathroom mirror – If you were absolutely positive this would be your last day on Earth, would you be happy with how you spent it?” I’m also told that people who live with a sense of awe live longer (per some study, but it makes sense to me…)

    You are absolutely right. Wisdom does originate from curiosity. It was when I started really becoming interested in other places, people, I think I got more self-aware, improved my self-confidence, had more compassion, etc.
