In this hedonistic world of instant gratification, Pleasure is a god whose altar you need to worship at and Wisdom is the lowly beggar you occasionally toss a few coins to.

Yes, and in James 1:5 we read, “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.” What a promise that is!
