Can you believe we’ve reached the middle of the year? Along about mid-year, I always tend to pause and reflect on whether my New Year’s Resolutions have changed. Some have and some haven’t, but these two never do. So, in a sense they’re my mid-year’s re-solutions, as well. Psychologists say we’re more likely to keep our resolutions if we only have one or two. These two work for me.
“I will praise my Creator all my life; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.”
~Psalm 146:2

If you can keep those two I don’t think any more are needed.

This is a fine idea, Mitch—revisiting one’s New Year’s resolutions six months later.
Frankly, I had to go look them up in my rather rambling journal.
Perspective, Resilience, Choice.
I suppose I’m doing okay at this point. The perspective part is the hardest.
Thanks for making me think, as usual.

Great Post! This year is flying so fast—we’ll be eating turkey again before you know it! Mitch it seems we always walk in the same path. My “Verse of the Day” Devotion yesterday was all about praise. (Psalm 34:1 NKJV) Have a great week! Blessings and Peace!
