Our Butterfly Effect

Seek First..

People tend to think of Matthew 6:33 as a promised reward for righteousness (or justice), and in a sense it is that. But it’s much more. It’s each of us playing our role in “resetting” this broken world, putting in motion the greatest butterfly effect in history.

  7. Three years back, a girl joined my company during turbulent times. She was mistreated by her acting lead, an itchy grumpy bully. This girl left her job even though she needed it because she couldn’t deal with the emotional pressure. I tried to help her but there wasn’t much I could do since the management was in incapable hands then. The management was changed next year and I invited her back. She was hesitant. Two years later, she rejoined the company in a different department. She messaged me. I rejoiced with her. Then what she told me made me rethink how little things change the world. She said, she came back because I was kind to her. I gave her hope that if the place had people like me, it couldn’t be all bad. Little acts of kindness go a long way.

    Hi Mitch,

What a great way to see the history’s ruined course is set right by Jesus turning it on a 180 course. We get to live on that righted history now.

    In Christ,

    Gary
