God, Save Us From Ourselves

Presentation1

“I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my flesh.

For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out…

Oh, what a wretched man I am!

Who will rescue me from this body of death?

I give thanks to God, who delivers me

through Jesus Christ our Lord!”

~Romans 7:18, 24-25

God, save us from ourselves!

  1. She’s willing….but…as we know, faith without works is dead. We work out salvation in fear and trembling. If we just tried to do the clear, main messages and stopped finagling ways to hate, isolate, and deprive fellow human beings of their rights and their lives, we’d all feel a lot better.
    Isaiah 58:10 ESV
If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday.
