A Worthy Life

A Man of ValuePhoto by Christian Holzinger

Thought for the Week

No one who lived for riches or fame or power ever died satisfied. So live for what is worthy, what neither moth nor rust can destroy (Matthew 6:19). It may or may not make you wealthy, famous or powerful, but it will feed your soul. And when you die, you will die satisfied and at peace.

Yes indeed. In this walk of life, I will strive to fight the good fight, finish the course, and keep the faith…and when I come face to face with my Heavenly Father, I hope to hear those precious words, “Well done thou good faithful servant.”

  6. Hi Mitch. I’m certain that every choirgirl and choirboy can sing in full harmony with the words of Matthew 6:19. Let’s hope the materialists / money-changers have not become too tone-deaf for redemption.
