A mess is mess … even if you give it a new name and renumber it 😬

Haha! Exactly. I can’t take another 2020, but I am not feeling all that confident about 2021. I can only pray and wait.

I am sure many are disappointed on the arrival of 2021 and life was just the same as in 2020. It takes a lot of effort on our own part to make a shift or change in our life. New Year was far from a celebration for me as I spent it ill releasing past life attachments. Fun Fun….

My stepdaughter works for the department of defense on a special ops military base. So she’s plugged in to a whole other grapevine. We were talking on the phone this morning and she said “It’s like 2021 said to 2020: ‘Oh, you think that was bad? Hold my beer’.”

Yeah, what will new year add to the “fun” we’re already having …?

Who would have thought even a year ago we could reach this new low so quickly? (And I fear we may fall lower still in coming days.) Without my faith in God–who’s never caught by surprise, never without a plan, never out of control–I’d surely be depressed. Thankfully my well-being and future are in his capable hands!

I’d like to say that we can only go up from here, but if 2020 taught me anything, it’s not to say things like that…..

It all started so well. And then I woke up on the morning of January 1.
