Wise, indeed. 🙂

I like the one about a clever person solves a problem, but a wise person avoids it.
Reminds me of a quote by the actor Bill Murray about the proverb, “You can draw more flies with honey than vinegar.” Murray said, “But who wants to draw flies.”

I had never seen the last quote before. That one is a priceless gem!

I’m with Einstein on the mysterious being a beautiful experience, for both art and science.

Best. Post. Ever. Except for your C.S. Lewis and me series. Oh, and… ; > Happy new year, Mitch, Trudy, and etc.

Genius and wisdom are not always found in the same person; Einstein is a prime exception. Thank you for this stellar collection, Mitch!

Uttered long before Facebook and Twitter came to be, that initial quote was prophetic.

I am afraid that day is almost here all to soon when that AI (Artificial Intelligence) decide we are just a notch above the baboons, we may find our future ending soon.

Definitely the type of wisdom we need to all strive to achieve. Thank you for sharing these – some great reminders! 🙂

I love it Mitch – especially the one about people who do nothing! Thank you so much and have a blessed New Year!

That first quote makes me suspect he had the ability to see into the future! But I loved all the quotes, and had not idea he said such wise things. Happy New Year!

Wow, what a wise, wise, man. That first quote is a bit scary. I loved the quote you ended this post on.

Great stuff, Mitch. Albert Einstein is #1 on my list of “heroes.” He is my (first) answer to the question: “If you could spend an hour in conversation with one person, who would it be?”

Good choice! (My first answer is C.S. Lewis, of course.)
