Vaccines are on the way, but won’t be available for a while. In the meantime, lockdowns are increasing, and many, especially today Friday the 13th, are cocooning inside their homes again. So I couldn’t think of a better time to post a temporary “cure.” The earth is a cacophony of color—on the land, under the sea, even in the air. And it’s teeming with colorful living creations, as well. Why, you’d almost think there was some profound artistic hand behind it all, wouldn’t you? Some master-Artist who cared even more about this mad, beautiful world (us included) than we do.

Oh, how these cheered my heart today, Mitch! I’m officially dubbing you the Angel of the Blogosphere 😇 (Sounds better than the Warder-off of the Heebie-jeebies on Friday-the-Thirteenth, doesn’t it? 😈)

AMAZING! There definitely has to be a Master Artist at work behind this kind of color. Disney Studios pales in comparison. Thanks for this spirit-lifter, Mitch. I hope curating this post blessed you as much as it blesses those of us who consume it.

It did, Russ. I love doing my Friday photoblogs.

The amazing part of all those images is that – if we saw most of them is a Disney cartoon, we would figure some cartoonist invented most of them, but they are real.

The two fish on top and the bird in the flower at the bottom are incredible…well all of them are.

Mitch, love all those bright colors (it’s a dreary day here.) Our autumn leaves are peaking here this week – isn’t amazing to see God’s heavenly paintbrushes so busy around us? Blessings to you and yours! Virginia

That photo of the beetle assemblage is my favorite, with all those colors and various patterns. How amazing that even BEETLES become God’s canvas. Thanks Mitch for a rainbow-respite this afternoon!

Very nice pictures Mitch!
The kingfisher sitting on a flower is nice and the red panda taking a sip of water is really sweet.
Thanks!

Hi Mitch,
It reminds me that the Lord is painting His masterpiece and we get the benefit of being part of it.

Who knew there were so many colorful animals in the world? These are wonderful, Mitch. Your post was a delicatessen of colors. I found you from Frank’s blog. Have a great weekend. 🙂

The peacock spider you included is a drawing, not a photograph haha. Do you happen to know the artist behind it? It’s beautiful.

No, I’m afraid I don’t. It certainly looks like a photo to me. Peacock spiders do exist, btw, and they look just like that. They’re an Australian species.
