Amen. This is a great message. Thank you, Mitch.

Reminds me of a similar passage in Matthew: 6:25-33
Good advice from the best source.

Amen, Andrew–about both comments.

“Today” is sometimes a slippery hump to stand on, but it is the highest point from which to see clearly. It’s terribly hard for me to live in the moment but not sure why?? I really like that verse.

Mitch, thank you so much for sharing these power-packed words of truth from God’s Word! It’s entirely too easy to focus on our past, which only creates that worry for our future. Yet, when we stop and think — how much precious time and energy are we wasting? Most of our worries never even come to pass. It’s one of the greatest weapons our adversary uses against us. If the devil can get us focused on what we *can’t* change — we won’t be focused on what we *can* change.
Amen and amen. Awesome words, brother. You’ve given me some definite food for thought today. Thank you for sharing this message! 🙏🏼

I just checked, and it’s still today. Thanks for the engagement, Mitch.

You’ve reminded me of one of Corrie ten Boom’s famous quotes: “Worry does not empty tomorrow of its troubles; it empties today of its strength.” I have a feeling if we use today’s strength to encourage others, it will multiply, not diminish!

I have a feeling you’re right, Nancy. And I love the Corrie quote, btw.

I just open my Bible to the book of Hebrews, and then go to Chapter three, verse 11 to see what it says.

No, every book of the Bible is different. Some have a lot of chapters and some have only a few. And some chapters have a lot of verses and some have only a few verses.

Great message…encouragement goes a long way. Mitch, I wanted to let you know that I received your 6-word story for my most recent blog. It’s lovely and thanks so much for participating and volunteering. Once I collect the other stories, I’ll update my post with all the stories or create a new one. Thanks again and have a fab day!
