It’s sad how many people want no “human rights” for the unborn.

I couldn’t agree more, Christopher.

I don’t like, but I agree. 😥

Brilliant. Sometimes I tell people it is amazing that being on one side or the other of 1/8th thickness of skin determines if it is a child.

That’s a great illustration of the cognitive dissonance of the pro-“choice” camp.

Yes, so true. Lord wake people up!

This is one of the most powerful arguments against abortion.

Yes, those who see no moral difference between a late-term abortion and removal of a mole are indeed much like those enthralled by the stork myth.
At the other extreme, those who see no moral difference between infanticide and taking mifepristone (aka RU-486) after a rape are enthralled by another myth. Their myth is that it is easy to know what is right, however hard it may be to do it.

In my opinion, the most valid argument against the pro-choice movement is that if life doesn’t begin at birth, then when exactly does it begin? And if a fetus is only a baby if it’s wanted, then logically, the only thing that makes anyone human is being wanted. It’s a complicated issue for sure.

It certainly is, Ann.

Well, darn, I didn’t mean “at birth!!” I meant “at conception.” I really need to check what I’ve written before I hit “post comment.” Hope you didn’t misunderstand what I meant!

Figured that was what you meant, Ann.

Good for you, Mitch. This is the biggest lie that is being promoted in society, along with so terribly many others.
Children being made to be destroyed. It is horrifying, but true, and it has cheapened the lives of the children who are allowed to be born. It is also destroying the lives and souls of their biological parents, and those who mindlessly promote this mas murder as ‘a right’ and no one’s business. There is no sense politically. Those who would continue to press the open-ended spread of abortion, (to the point of actually killing a surviving child), are the ones who want health-care and living wages for the families, and those who claim to be ‘pro-life’ are possibly causing more horrific decisions to destroy life with mindless murder, based on their economic realities.
Prayer. We all need to get people to get their heads out of the fog and put children first. That has truly been lost, from what I see in the lives of the children in my grandchildren’s schools. No one is caringly raising most children. The parents have become negligent and self-centered. Many out of the necessity of all of them trying to work to stay out of slums, others who have fallen into the slums, but the children are not home and when they are, they are given little family life. Even those doing better economically have them in too many outside activities. Again, children are not being put FIRST. For all the running around, being home, truly seeing what each child needs, being nurtured, is no longer important to most people.

I love your thoughts on this, but I would challenge one point: before children, God first. Without His love and standards in the world we would have no reason to care for children.

Jimmy. I haven’t been around much, as I’ve been on orders for COVID response since May. We’re being told the mission won’t end until the new year. The good news is that this gives me the time to work on my book. 😁

As a mom of 2 with an 11 day old baby, I have to say that this hits a touch harder than it usually does. When Self is the greatest god, than personal pleasure, ease, and convenience are the greatest forms of worship. This is taught in school, it is expected in college, and the norm in adult life. It is our responsibility to expose and remove the idolatry within this country, otherwise there will be no change.
