My Featured Blogger this week is the smart, witty, opinionated, often sarcastic, and generally very wise blogger at See, There’s This Thing Called Biology, a.k.a. Insanity Bytes.
I’m afraid that, despite several years of following her blog, I haven’t yet learned her name. But I do have a good sense of:
- Her interests: Society, politics, marriage, life (she’s a fan), God (she’s a big fan), and ultra-left-wing feminists (she’s not a fan); and
- Her character: Transparent, trustworthy and super relatable!
So do yourself a favor and visit her today!
Yeah! Now that’s what I’m talking about. So, expectancy is part of what enables us to know God, to sense His presence, to hear His voice. I like the little wordplay, “expect His Excellency.”
I was having a rotten day, taking a drive and talking to God as I am apt to do. When I parked I said for the umpteenth time, I need some direction here, I need a sign.I am just all confused. I literally stepped out of the car and walked right into my sign. It said, “safe and secure.” It was so incredibly sweet! Precisely what I needed to hear. The very root of my problem was that I was feeling insecure and unsafe. When I feel unsafe and insecure, I tend to get angry, to want to fight back. I had momentarily forgotten that I am always safe in His hands.
